In order to obtain better performance, you must use the number and date format (US), especially with regard to the encoding system and the decimal point for numbers, To change the date format in Windows to the format used in the United States, follow these steps:
 
  • Right-click on the system clock in the taskbar at the bottom right of your screen.
  • Select "Adjust date/time" from the pop-up menu.
  • The "Date & time" window will open. Click on "Change date and time formats".
  • In the "Formats" section, select "United States" from the drop-down menu.
  • After selecting the United States, click "Save" to apply the changes.
